Hi, I’m Julia, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Master of Counselling Psychology student with the privilege to be completing my practicum at Inner Calm. I hold a BA in Psychology (Honours) from the University of Windsor, graduating in 2022, and bring nearly three years of experience supporting and supervising post-secondary students through campus mental health and peer wellness programs. This work has shaped how I listen, walk alongside people, and respond with care to what feels meaningful or heavy.
Here, I invite you into a calm, compassionate space where you can slow down, notice what you carry, and explore what matters most to you. Life often fills us with responsibilities, expectations, and experiences that shape our inner world. I often refer to this as our “invisible backpack.” In our work together, you guide what we attend to, and I stay with you, gently noticing what matters, and offering support as you hold, set down, or care for these experiences in ways that feel right for you. This is a judgment-free space to move at your own pace, with curiosity, warmth, and understanding.
If you’re interested in connecting, please email juliainsession@gmail.com or book online by clicking “schedule a session” below. I look forward to walking alongside you in this journey, sharing in the quiet moments, noticing what matters most to you, and offering a steady, gentle presence as you tend to your own life.

Hi there! My name is Shannon and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) currently completing my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I hold an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Huron University, which I completed in 2020. Since 2021, I have worked within a private psychological practice as an office manager, gaining valuable experience in a setting that offers both psychoeducational assessments and counselling services.
I am especially passionate about supporting women through the unique and often complex challenges they face across different life stages. This includes identity development, infertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. As a wife and the mother of a beautiful baby girl, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work, allowing me to approach these topics with empathy, warmth, and understanding.
My goal is to walk alongside individuals on their journey of self-exploration, growth, and development. I aim to help clients deepen their understanding of themselves while also building and maintaining meaningful, healthy relationships with others. My therapeutic approach is person-centred, relational, and eclectic, with a strong emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to show up as they are.
Outside of the therapy room, I am passionate about animals, the outdoors, and self-care. I consider myself someone who values connection, balance, and authenticity—qualities I also bring into my work with clients. I look forward to working with you and meeting you wherever you are at.
