Family and Couples Therapy

In Family Therapy sessions, 2-3 family members meet with a registered therapist to improve how you talk and connect with each other. The therapist helps you speak calmly and understand each other better, so you can work through problems and build a healthier family relationship.

Intern Therapists

Interns are Master’s Counselling Psychology students in the final 8 months of their degree. They receive supervision from Jenni Jenkins and Adrian Fortner during and after their internships. Intern fees can be adjusted from $100 per session to fit insurance coverage for services provided by an 'MSW, Registered Social Worker' or 'Psychotherapist,' reflecting Jenni's designations. I am a Master of Arts Counselling Psychology practicum student who is qualified to practice under the supervision of an approved site supervisor. I am compassionate and dedicated to supporting clients navigate a range of mental health issues. I have a particular passion for supporting children (8 yrs+) and youth manage difficult emotions and life circumstances. I believe in the power of therapy to foster resilience and personal growth. I draw upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
