Oct 1 2025 Fee Increase

A gentle update — Jenni’s rate has increased as of October 1. We recognize the realities of insurance limits and will gladly work with you to find an approach that fits your coverage and supports your ongoing care.

Direct Billing to Insurers

We offer direct billing for many extended health plans. This allows us to bill your insurance provider directly, reducing out-of-pocket costs and removing the need for you to file claims yourself. You can add your insurance information in your Jane account or mention it to your therapist.

These gentle, guided mindfulness sessions support nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and a sense of inner calm. These sessions are a space to slow down, reconnect, and rest in awareness—especially for those feeling high stress, or burnout.

Many people find these sessions are covered by extended health benefits through their employer, making them an accessible way to care for your well-being. We offer direct billing to OTIP, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield and others.

With A Side of Fun Sessions

Hello. I am a mature student completing my Master of Social Work degree through Laurier’s part-time online program. I hold a bachelor’s degree from King’s University and have experience providing counselling to women escaping intimate partner violence. Additionally, I have experience in my private practice offering grief and bereavement counselling to both adults and children who have lost a loved one. I am also a proud mother of three adult children and a grandmother to 8 grandchildren.

I am honoured to be completing my practicum with Inner Calm and look forward to expanding my knowledge and experience. I strive to create a client-centred, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you can speak openly and honestly about your experiences. Together, we can develop a plan that promotes growth and healing through some of life’s toughest challenges.

It’s my intention to always have space in my schedule for people to return to counselling throughout their lives. If I have worked with your family before in any of my roles as a social worker, you are welcome to schedule a session with me now.

If I haven’t worked with you before… it is for people like you that I have formed this clinic. I have aligned with many newer therapists - and I will be happy to help you find a good fit.

If it’s supervision you are seeking - for a Masters level practicum, clinical supervision or private practice guidance, you might find a time that works for your schedule in my availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays,

Hi! This is Pranoti Kulkarni (Paro)!

Has it become harder to get excited about things you used to enjoy? Do you sometimes wonder, “Is this really where I’m supposed to be?” or feel uncertain about the road ahead? If any of this sounds familiar, I want you to know you’re not alone. Life has a way of throwing us curveballs, and it’s completely okay to feel uncertain or stuck at times. The good news? You don’t have to go through it alone. It takes strength to reach out for support, and I’m here to offer you a space where you can share your thoughts, feel heard, tell your story without judgment, and work together toward clarity and growth.

I like to think of myself as a “counselling chameleon”.I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Everyone’s journey is unique, so I tailor my approach to what works best for you. Whether it’s CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, or Person-Centered Therapy, I draw from a variety of tools to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at your own pace.

With 7 years of experience in Canada, working with children, young adults, and families from diverse backgrounds, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges. My background in behavior support, developmental counseling, and educational roles has given me practical experience in addressing emotional and behavioral concerns. As someone from a South Asian background, I bring a unique perspective to therapy, deeply appreciating the role that cultural identity plays in mental health. This perspective allows me to create culturally sensitive, welcoming spaces where you feel truly seen and understood.

No matter what you’re going through—whether it’s anxiety, relationship challenges, or simply feeling “stuck”—I am here to help you tap into your inner strengths, build resilience, and navigate life’s hurdles. You have the potential for transformation within you, and I’m here to help you unlock it. Let’s work together to build a life that aligns with who you truly are, a life that brings you peace, fulfillment, and confidence!
